Corelia announce Indiegogo for Debut Album

Corelia have spent years crafting the perfect follow up to Nostalgia, now the band has launched an Indiegogo fundraiser for their debut LP.

We saw no substantial reason to rush out a debut LP or to subscribe to the label industry trend of releasing a persistent stream of albums when it was obvious to us that all future success of our band was going to be based around releasing records that live up to the highest quality of our artistic standards. We care very deeply about our vision and the music we create, and were thus intent on being veritably conscientious about our approach towards releasing new, evolved material with the understanding that it would undoubtedly spread on a much vaster scale upon a much more widely established foundation. So, we were determined to have our first full-length album be one with meaningful significance.

Paramore announce Writing The Future Tour

Paramore has announced a small run of dates with Copeland that will hit theaters and small venues.

It feels right to bring the Self-Titled era to a close. We've had a very personal and hugely triumphant journey with this one. What wouldn't feel right is saying goodbye to this time in the band's career and not celebrating it with our fans in some special way. So we've decided to do one last little run with it. Smaller shows, beautiful theaters…and we're not calling it a tour, by the way. Each night will be a little event, or as we said just a few seconds ago, a celebration. As we acknowledge the past few years (and more) of everything we've been through together, we're also looking forward together at all there is to come.

Edward Snowden: "Apple Is Spying On You"

Edward Snowden says Apple's iPhone has secret spyware that lets the government spy on you. Snowden's lawyer, Anatoly Kucherena, commented on behalf of Edward:

"Edward never uses an iPhone, he's got a simple phone," Anatoly Kucherena told Russian news agency RIA Novosti. "The iPhone has special software that can activate itself without the owner having to press a button and gather information about him, that's why on security grounds he refused to have this phone." The lawyer added that Snowden's decision not to use an iPhone stemmed from a concern for professional privacy rather than from a dislike for the device.
