While we were recording the Self-Titled album in 2011 we decided that this song would not be making the album. We finished the music but did not track the vocals. We recently recorded the vocals but before we release it for you to hear we want to offer everyone a unique opportunity. We want you to download the instrumental version from the widget below, write and record your own lyrics and melody and submit it back to us. We will pick one winner and their version, along with ours will be available for free download from www.altpress.com.

Hostage Calm Announce Spring Tour with Turnover, The World Is…

Hostage Calm have announced a run of headline dates this April with support from Turnover and The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die.  The tour will include a stop at Today’s Mixtape Festival in Long Island.  Hostage Calm will also appear at the Jamboree Festival in Toledo, OH alongside Man Overboard, The Story So Far and more.

Man Overboard Post "Dead End Dreams" Video Preview

Man Overboard have posted photos from the video shoot for their song “Dead End Dreams” on DefendPopPunk.com. The video was shot by Rob Soucy (who has worked with Defeater, Make Do And Mend, and more) in Philadelphia, PA this winter. 

Property of Zack will premiere a behind-the-scenes video on May 29th followed by the full video premiere on MTV Buzzworthy on June 5th. Stay tuned to the band’s facebook for all the links. 

The band will be playing on every date of this year’s Vans Warped Tour. In the fall, they will be joining New Found Glory, Less Than Jake, and The Story So Far on The Road To Warped Tour in the UK. All the tour dates are below.

The Story So Far Announce West Coast Summer Tour Dates

Fast-rising Northern California pop punks The Story So Far have announced a short west coast headline run of summer dates featuring support from Seahaven, Stickup Kid, Troubled Coast and Stateside. Dates kick off July 11 in Bakersfield and end July 15 in Berkeley.

 The Story So Far will also be performing on all three days of the Bamboozle Festival this weekend in Asbury Park, NJ after which they will head over to the UK for Slam Dunk Festival. This fall, the band is confirmed to play the UK Vans Warped Tour event on November 10.

The Story So Far’s acclaimed debut LP Under Soil and Dirt is out now on Pure Noise Records.
