Up And Coming Bands To Watch This Fall
There is alot happening in the music world this fall, with the announcement of some amazing tours, such as Underoath's "reunion" tour. With those announcements come the openers that you've either never heard of or most likely worship. Here are 5 up and coming bands you should look for this fall. (Note: All bands listed will be on tour as openers this fall!)
1. PVRIS
Since 2012, PVRIS have made a name for themselves in music, getting signed to Rise Records. Lately, they have toured with Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens as well as touring on the entire run of Warped Tour 2015. The band's last release, thier debut White Noise, got the #6 position on the US Alternative Charts in November 2014. This fall you can catch PVRIS on Bring Me The Horizon's October headlining tour with Issues.
2. Sorority Noise
Sorority Noise is the type of band where you see them on a tour roster, but have no clue who they are. They are a hidden gem of the "emo" scene and they only just formed in late 2013. Lately, Sorority Noise has been touring with Modern Baseball and doing promotion work for thier newest release, Joy, Departed. Keep a close eye out for Sorority Noise, as they will be touring this fall with Knuckle Puck!
3. Invalids
Invalids started in early 2008 as "the bedroom project" of Pete Davis with help from his internet music friends. The project quickly started to grow and since March of 2015, it has grown to a 4-piece band. Invalids play math rock and it just so happens that after some time, they are hitting the road again for an August/September co-headlining tour with Panucci's Pizza. Try to catch Invalids out on this tour as it's sure to be a killer good time. (Note: This is the final tour of Panucci's Pizza)
4. Oceans Ate Alaska
Oceans Ate Alaska are not your ordinary metalcore band. Formed in 2011 in England, this band is no joke. They play hard hitting metal while being one of the bands where after you hear them, you need to see them live. At the end of July 2015, Oceans Ate Alaska played thier first show ever in the US and it's not even close to being their last. The band's debut album, Lost Isles, was released in February of this year and gained the attention of many. Fearless Records signed them and now you can catch them as an opener for Northlane in the fall with more tours to be announced soon.
5. Conquer Divide
"6 girls with a passion for music". That's the first thing you see when checking out Conquer Divide's Facebook and this statement defines the band as a whole. Yes they are girls and yes they play metal, but they aren't just making music to show off. Conquer Divide is starting to make a big dent on the post-hardcore scene this year with their debut self-titled album. This album just dropped on July 24th and already is getting 9/10, which is very good for a debut release. You can catch Conquer Divide on the rest of the All Stars Tour.
