For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Wildaways? How long has the band been around?

Slava Kavlenas played in a lot of bands before WLDWS

- Change Of Loyalty

- Apostate

- Fail Emotions

and many many more side projects.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

We played under "Sarah Where Is My Tea' name till 2014 year and we have a huge fan base under this name. Our last album "Love & Honor" and the popular Lana Del Rey's cover were pretty famous. We continue to play some SWITM songs live at shows, especially here in Russia, cause fans love it.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Me and Slava write songs now. But the album "Into The Wild" was written by me and our previous guitarist Denis. We don't have the main theme for music, it's just a music. That's why a lot of people don't like us cause we never play one genre in our songs. And I think yes, we will continue do what we do.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

Don't know why but last couple of months I really love and get inspired by the Australian band "The Amity Affliction". Sooo good.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Yes, absolutely, but you probably won't know the name of this metal band - "Amatory". It's a big Russian metal band and their show was the first I went to. I'll never forget it. 

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Just some embrace and warm words to ourselves. 

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

Record in US with Cameron Mizell. 

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Bring Me The Horzion all the way and with all Artery Artist, haha. Cause we love our label mates!
