For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Triple Addiction? How long has the band been around?

We (the Loree brothers) started this band when we were 12. It was a lot of cover tunes and wasn't anything too serious, but it was our first band, and first musical project. The band was started in 2007 but we didn't start writing originals until well into highschool. Later on down the road we added Dom to the group as our second guitar player.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

The name has been the same since we were kids. Being triplets, we wanted a name that would be recognizable with us. We have always had it and it kind of just stuck.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

We all generally write together. Someone might come up with a melody, or a guitar riff and we build the song off of that. No one person writes all the songs, it's very open and collaborative. We are very simple guys trying to live a good life, so when we write, a lot of our tunes match those ideas. We try to stay positive with everything we write. We don't swear or use profanity in our tunes and we try to make the lyrics match our personalities. The songs are about our real life experiences, so if we keep on that route, I'm sure as we mature and get older the topics will change to mirror that.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

We take a lot from everyone. All four of us vary when it comes to our musical taste. Some of us love classic country, while others love Christian metal (as you can see its pretty vast). Right now with our new Southern rock/ country direction we've been drawing a lot from bands and artists in that camp. Keith Urban, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brantley Gilbert, and The Allman Brothers to name a few.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Believe it or not, Nickelback was our first inspiration. It's definitely not a predictable answer when you see the style we've ended up in. When we were kids our Dad took us to our first Nickelback concert in New Jersey for our 12th birthday. We had loved the band growing up before becoming musicians, and seeing them perform live pushed us over the edge. They are still a band that inspires us to this day.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

On the day of the show we always make sure we have everything we need. Usually we do some vocal warmups, Jon does some stretching, we give fist bumps and usually try to get in a quick prayer. Nothing too fancy, trying not to over do it.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

We've had a lot of big moments as a band, opening up for big bands, traveling to gigs, but right now, honestly, it's been writing and recording this album. This was our first full length album, and our first time writing in this new style. It has been a very stressful and trying moment of our career, but also very rewarding, the most natural and "at home" we've ever felt. So far this seems like our biggest highlight.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Obviously would love to do a gig with the king of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Who wouldn't? We grew up on a lot of Elvis, and you can't deny his greatness. We also grew up on the Eagles so a tour with them would be epic, even though their harmonies and song writing would take us to school. Brad Paisley would be another superstar to tour with, such an all around talented, genuine guy. As far as new bands Greta Van Fleet would be cool. Let's start a brother tour, why not?

Is there anything else you would like to add?
