Luke Condon- Vocals, Guitar
Russ Condon- Vocals, Cajon
Brendan Condon- Vocals, Harmonica, Percussion
Tim Cackett- Bass, Mandolin, Guitar
Dean Adrien- Guitar, Vocals

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Town Meeting?

Dean notably used to play in the Boston folk band Orphan and spent some time on the road backing up both Tom Rush and Johnathan Edwards. I (Tim) was in a few hardcore bands most notably Anchorlines. Town Meeting is the first serious project the Condon Brothers have been involved with but Luke did previously have a few hip hop projects. How long has the band been around? 3 years.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

We all write the songs which has been a great process. We utilize group messaging and send a lot of different song ideas back and forth so when we get together to write we come in with ideas ready to go.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

Dawes, Jason Isbell, Punch Brothers, The Band, Fleet Foxes, Avett Brothers...

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

I think each guy would give you a very different answer to this question.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, etc …

Coffee, Tea, Honey, and Whiskey usually all find their way backstage before we play. I don't think the brothers usually warm up their voices too much but me and Dean usually run scales and riffs to warm up.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

Getting to play with so many amazing artists- playing shows with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson and The Avett Brothers really stand out.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Current- Dawes. We love their sound and they just seem like really genuine good dudes. Past- The Band because Levon Helm was such a big influence on us.
