For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Tomma Intet? How long has the band been around?

Mange, Tobbe and Jacob played in a band called The High Hats. Tobbe K plays in Trubbel. Jacob also play in Fredag den 13:e. Gittan Kock has played with a lot of bands. Superior woman and everybody wants to play with her. 

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

A dog whispered it to one of us on a mountain in Spain one starry night. Like: hey man it’s all a void. The big empty nothingness. It just came out of the blue. 

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Mange writes most songs but we do a lot together aswell. Morbid but loving inner space trips through the purgatory and then to Paris and Verona. And everything in between. Something like that. Yeah everything changes I'm sure. We don't want to be stuck. Maybe I fall in love.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

A lot of sixties stuff and early seventies. Right now I'm really into Alice Cooper (The drinking one) and Roky Erickson. 

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Nevermind with Nirvana when i was a kid. And all the punk bands that followed with that religious experience.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Puke and feeling death in my chest. But it alls goes away with the first chord.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

Getting the album finished. It had some bumps. Otherwise I think most of our gigs has been highlights. Pustervik with The fresh and only’s! 

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Rolling stones for me. At least the early seventies version. Good stuff. I’m sure they had a lot of fun.
