Please list all of your band members and their roles in the band.

Sean Silvestro - Vocals, Guitarist

Trevor Dodson - Bass, Vocals

Justin Haag - Drums

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to The Perfect Addiction? How long has the band been around?

Justin was in a band called No Big Deal before TPA and Trevor was in a band called Cadence For Kings, Sean was in a band called Dear Deceiver and Kyle used to do some solo stuff on the side.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

We wanted the name to be fitting of what we were aspiring to do, and all of the other names that we wanted were too similar to names that had already been taken!

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

We all contribute to the writing process. The songs are all about things that we go through that we think people can relate too. These topics will definitely change over time as we mature and begin to experience new things.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

We all draw inspiration from different bands. These run all across the board with anything from twenty one pilots all the way to sleeping with sirens. All Time Low, Mayday Parade and even Metallica have managed to slide in the middle of that spectrum.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

For Sean it was a concert featuring My Chemical Romance. For Kyle it was just his love of music. Trevor got inspired by The Devil Wears Prada, and for Justin it was a concert with All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The Maine, and Every Avenue.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, etc …

Before shows, we all like to take it easy and relax backstage. This usually consists of drinking a lot of energy drinks doing some vocal warm ups but there’s not really a set routine before we go on stage.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

The biggest highlight of our career was definitely when some of our fans got tattoos of our lyrics!

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

If we could put together our perfect tour, it would be The 1975, Motley Crue and 5 Seconds of Summer and us.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Thank you for having us for this interview and stay up to date on all of our social medias for some surprises coming up soon
