Please list all of your band members and their roles in the band.

Luca Difio Del Fiore, vocals and guitars. Adin Sulic, bass and back vocals. Luca Ceccato, guitars and back vocals. Riccardo Ori, Drums.

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Soldiers Of A Wrong War? How long has the band been around?

This band is a project we started back in February 2007, so we're talking about more than 10 years ago. We met when we were really young and we just changed one band member during all of these years. So for me, Difio and Luca, this band is the first band we put together. Our drummer Ric is the new entry, he started to play with us in 2014 and prior to that he used to play in a band called Never Ending Apnea.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

Nope, we never changed the band's name. And talking about the origin of that name, It's nothing related to politics, it's just about everyday life because sometimes we all feel like we're soldiers who are fighting for something in their lives. We have to face a lot of struggles on our path and it may happen that we feel like we're fithing a wrong war cause everything seems complicated at first, but in the end, we always find a way to go on and make things work.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

We write our songs all together. Usually Difio, the singer of the band, writes a first instrumental draft of the track, then we work all together to shpe it and dress it like a real song. The main themes/topics of our songs are evolving with us: i think it's a pretty natural process. When we write music, we usually speak about our lives and feelings so growing up i think you still feel the same things, but you just change the point of view and learn a different way to describe what's going on.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

We're always on the run and we love to listen to many different artists. Lately, we're listening to bands like Royal Blood, Highly Suspect, The Neighborhood, Arctic Monkeys, Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

I think each one of us has his own band/artist which inspired in us the idea of starting a band. If each of us could pick one name, we'd go with Linkin Park, Metallica, Foo Fighters and Deftones.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

We usually do some quick exercises to stretch our muscles and then, as soon as we touch the stage, we're ready to fly. Freedom at its finest!

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

We definitely went through a lot of different experiences, we could name so many different things that for us were awesome highlights but i think that the most important one is the fact that after 10 years together, we still have the same hunger we had in the beginning. Music is really what make us feel truly alive and free, our new album "Countdowns" is ready to be delivered to the world, it'll be available on April 18th and we can't wait to see what the response will be.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Metallica. Do we really even have to explain why? C'mon, it's Metallica!
