For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Seraphic Eyes? How long has the band been around?

Alberto - Ergot

Laura - None

Alessio - Rush Hour

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

I was always been inspired by the optimistic vision of life and when I start to think a name of a band, Seraphic Eyes arrived in my mind: it's the ambition to became so strong that no one fear could stop you and you became calm in any situation. It's not how we feel but what we want to become, we liked this name so we haven't changed. :)

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Alberto write the songs and if Azza and Laura accept it and together we create new songs if they not accept... I sadly play that notes on my couch ;)

Alberto: the main themes are the important things of life, I'm inspired by the life, I'm inspired by love, by my activism, by politics, by economic and social problems, I love to write about real life and I think that this couldn't change.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

I think that currently, the music that could really inspire the heart is hidden, we're covered with puppets in many musical scenes that sing about superficial loves, about money, about richness or other shits, 'cause this reason we're more inspired by 90's and 70's music, when songs came from the hearts and the artists sang about their real truth, about peace and war, about real feelings, about what it really means in life. Only a few famous artists try to do this now.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Azza does much push ups before a show :D, me and Laura stretch our body, then we jump and breath for relaxing ourselves, after this we give big hugs to each other and we go to start!

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

I think that it could be great come back to Lollapalooza of 93! Check the poster! Dinosaur Jr., Alice in Chains, Primus, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, etc. ;)
