Chaz Florido - Lead Guitar

Warren Beal - Bass

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Remorsefully Numb? How long has the band been around?

Andrew and Jake were in a Pop Punk band called Lonely Product from 2012 up until Remorsefully Numb was created. Remorsefully Numb was formed in August of 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

The name Remorsefully Numb has multiple meanings to us, but we want other people to form their own individual understanding of what it means to them.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

The song writing process usually involves Andrew creating the melody/backbone of the song on guitar along with lyrics and then the rest of the band produces their parts for it. As far as where the topics and themes for songs come from, It's as simple as moments in life. Happy moments, sad moments, anything. The music isn't limited and its very personal.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

Bands that inspire us to make the music we are making right now would be groups like Citizen, Taking Back Sunday ect.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

When I [Andrew] initially asked Jake if he wanted to start and band 7 years ago, like a lot of angst filled teens, I was a fan a Green Day. Their energy and message inspired me to create my own music and to start playing with other musicians.

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Before shows we try and get our blood flowing, a few push ups usually does the trick.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

The biggest highlight of our career so far has definitely been the opportunity to tour with our good friends in Propersleep form Raleigh, North Carolina. They are such an awesome group of guys with powerful music and we are excited to see how our summer tour goes with them.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Honestly that's a hard one to answer... Being support on a tour for Citizen, Real Friends or Movements would be unreal.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Our new single "Forfeit" comes out June 18th and our summer tour with Propersleep will began on June 21st.
