For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Love Ghost? How long has the band been around?

Love Ghost is the 1st band for all of us.  We have been a band for 1 1/2 years.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

The origin is a bit of a secret.  We like to leave it up to interpretation.  We did have to fight for the name though, as someone else had used it before.  We have never changed the name.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Finnegan writes most of the songs, but recently we have been writing collectively.  There are a lot of topics in our music- including helping those in need, misunderstood minority groups, we bring attention to things like death and chaos, and we focus on our own personal feelings and journeys.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Eliot Smith

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Nirvana- the nevermind album really stuck with Finn and fueled the beginning of Love Ghost

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

We rehearse a lot before a show.  Finn does not eat the day of a concert.  Sometimes we have little pep talks before we go onstage.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

When we recorded Forgive Me we poured everything inside us into that song.  The satisfaction of hearing it back was the highlight

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Ludwig Von Beethoven, because he's crazy like us.  Smashing Pumpkins- because that makes the most sense.
