Niki Skistimas - Vocals/Drums, Ralf Dietel - Vocals/Guitar

For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to KrashKarma? How long has the band been around?

WIZO, NIN, INTANGIBLE, ANIMASTIK, EYE SHADOWS. The band has been around for 7 years.

What's the origin of that name and have you changed the band's name before?

KRASHKARMA describes the duality between the female and male energy in the band.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time? 

We both write the songs together. The songs are about things that move us...relationships, politics and other personal  experiences. The topics will change over time the same way feelings change.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that youíre making?

In Flames, Abba, In This Moment, Massive Attack

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Yes, all the shitty bands out there, we want to show them how it is done!

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect..

Vocal warm ups, stretching and warming up as there is a lotvof head banging and jumping around happening. 

What has been the biggest highlight of the bandís career so far?

Every show is a highlight! That we sold out of our newest album was one as well.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Metallica because they seem to have a steady fan base that continues to grow.

Real art for real people - we donít pretend to be rockstars who belong on the radio.
