For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to I Fight Fail?

Where Are You Houston
 
How long has the band been around? What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

I Fight Fail’s been around for 3 years. We've been playing together for around 10
We changed the name from Where Are You Houston. The origin  came from a state far add in the mail that said I fight fail and I do it for you. It fit well with our message as a band and people to create a positive movement

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time? 

We all have a part in the song writing we kind of feed off of each other's ideas. Andy writes most if not all of the lyrics. We are all really into conspiracies and supernatural experiences. We all have huge imaginations when it comes to that kind of stuff. We are always evolving and writing about new experiences and stuff like that.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making? Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band? 

Angels and Airwaves, Brand New, Tom Delonge, Armor for Sleep, and 30 seconds to Mars.
Those musicians always have been an influence to us

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

We just hang out and listen to music we like and just keep that passionate mindset. And most of all try to have fun

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

One of our favorite moments was when journeys featured our self filmed music videos in all of there Shoe stores back in feb 2015. That was pretty cool to have it in over 2500 stores for a month. And we created it our self.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why? 

It would be really sweet to tour with blink 182 or Brand New; those guys have influenced all of our lives.
