How long has the band been around?

We had our launch show in January 2017, so we are still a relatively new band!

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

I really wish there was a cool deep personal reason I could give you but in truth we just stumbled upon FROM INSIDE because we thought it sounded good to us. It may or may not be obvious to people but we took it from the Linkin Park song ‘From The Inside’.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Our guitarist Booth is the main song writer in the band but we all chip in with ideas and suggestions along the way. All our songs are about the hardships in life, which is real for everyone no matter what age so we can’t see this changing anytime soon.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

We try to take more inspiration outside of heavy music to gain originationly. Like from trance music, classical and movie soundtracks etc. Some bands we dig right now are Palisades, Alpha Wolf, Northlane and Architects of course.

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Linkin Park have always been a big favourite of ours!

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Yeh we always warm up with exercises! You would have to be crazy not to. George also has to eat a packet of Wotsits before every show as a sort of pre show ritual.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

We have just got back from our first European tour, that was a particular good one for us. Also pretty much every hometown show has been insane for us.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Bring Me The Horizon would be the obvious choice, you just know the shows would be massive as they have completely dominated the leading pack for years now.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

We just can’t wait for everyone to hear our new music that we are on the verge of dropping really soon.
