For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Collective Shoes? How long has the band been around?

collective shoes, since late 2k15 (so, it's been 2 years going) 

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

most of us collecting shoes and the most important is the meaning behind the shoes itself. yeah, formerly this project was named "truth hurts lie kills" but we thought that it was too long so we changed it

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

me (the vocalist, myself). usually, i write what i wanna write, but mostly i wrote about teenage drama. like a relationship, friendship, anxiety and else. What unique from us is the delivery. We deliver every song at our own will. even anger and sadness are our best mood, we're still a bunch of comedic gold

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

trophy eyes, like pacific, descendents, forus, pee wee gaskins, blink, joyce manor, knuckle puck, new found glory, the story so far, hand of mercy. some are my personal favorites, the rest are something we like in common, maybe I haven't heard yet. guess which band haha

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Trophy Eyes

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Just regular stuff and maybe some beers.

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

We haven't got a real show, yet. cuz the scene ain't growing really well in our country. got featured in few international articles maybe our current top achievement. I hope with the chance that Kill The Music will give, the band's career gets better

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Whoa, we sure would do a tour with any bands that wanted us to be involved. but for sure, the bands I already mentioned above are our lifetime goals to be achieved.
