1. Heart (To The Fans)

Heart is a track obviously dedicated to each and every fan, friend or person that has stuck by not only Joe and I but also a a song we wanted to dedicate to future fans of the band. It all starts with the people listening so what better place to kick Lakeshore's debut EP than a track dedicated to the people who support us and keep us going.

2. Future

This song took on a life of its own when from the time we started writing it to the time we felt it was complete. We wanted something very anthemic that could speak to people on a level playing field. With all the troubled times were in now it just puts out a positive message to keep pushing forward because our future depends on us.

3. Taking...(Interlude)

This track is just a precursor to the next song Control. Our singer shawn is a great piano player and we wanted to briefly showcase his talent and have it be heartfelt yet still be able to fit in and transition well in the EP.

4. Control

Control is a kind of progressive song, I came up with the guitar lines and Shawn kind of took control with this one (no pun intended) he really brought it to life. I think its a strong centerpiece with a good message as the record starts to peak.

5. Welcome To Oz (Interlude)

This interlude was an instrumental we had laying around, we wanted to give it a fairytale feel with a positive message once again, the Wizard of Oz is my moms favorite movie so we tried  to capture the essence of that film within the short space allotted yet still be able to once again transition into the next track which is a heavier song and was to be our next single/music video

6. Kings (The Reawakening)

Kings was a song I had an idea for almost as a joke at first, we didn't have any real heavy bouncy songs on the album so I started laying guitars and drums down then once it kind of came to life I was like woah ok this could be cool, for some reason I had the idea to wrap the lyrics around the time I had spent with Mitch Lucker and Suicide Silence since that was a very defining time in my life/career. It eventually morphed into just a fun heavy track capturing the essence of things I learned from Mitch as well as giving it our own personal message.

7. History

History Is a track that I had previously wrote and then took it and rewrote it into the form you hear now for the EP. The lyrics touch on Joe and I's history in music and with Emmure. It's really a personal song yet once again we wanted to have lyrics in it that we felt not only related to us but could have listeners connect with as well. Very fun song to play!

8. Pure Imagination

This track really encapsulates everything this band is about, positive message, big epic chorus' yet still heavy with lots of energy. I wanted this song to be a statement. From the lyrics to the ending guitar solo this is my favorite song and probably means the most to me personally.
