On April 27th, 2005 our favorite president George W. Bush signed a law into effect that allowed for up to three years in prison for anyone that pirated music or films on the Internet. Pirating music/media is pretty widely controversial between both fans and artists alike, but I think we can all agree three years in prison seems a bit extensive.
