This Day In Music History: May 18th
May 18th, 1964 in Hamilton, Scotland a riot broke out at a Rolling Stones show on their UK tour. Due to an insane forged-ticket scandal the venue was over-crowded and there were still well thousands of people waiting to get in. People were fainted and getting trampled and fights were breaking out in the ballroom that they played. Police needed to call for back-up from outlying towns.
