This Day In Music History: July 27th

On this day, July 27th, in 2010 American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold released their fifth studio album Nightmare via Warner Brother Records. Nightmare was the first album the band had without James “The Rev” Sullivan on drums, due to his December 2009 death.  Sullivan did write the parts that were used in the final recording, so Nightmare was the last album with Sullivan would write on with Avenged Sevenfold. Nightmare debuted at number on the Billboard 200 and would quickly become certified Gold by the RIAA in the US. Listen to the full album below!
