On this day, December 17th, in 1971 musician David Bowie released his fourth studio album ‘Hunky Dory’ via RCA Records. ‘Hunky Dory’ had hit singles such as “Life On Mars?”, “Queen Bitch”, and even “Song for Bob Dylan”. The album itself received many high marks from critics and would build the pathway to many more of Bowie’s successful releases. ‘Hunky Dory’ would rank 107 on Rolling Stone’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time’.
