The Story Of How Randy Blythe's (Lamb Of God) Grammy Medallion Has Helped People

Back in 2007, Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe decided to put his Grammy nomination medallion for “Redneck” up for auction in an effort to raise money for Myotonic Dystrophy research, a disease his friend Todd Stone’s children were diagnosed with. A man named Dan Gerawan ended up putting in the winning bid, but instead of keeping it, he told Stone to keep it for his kids. Fast forward to the present, Blythe's sister-in-law Bianca was diagnosed with cancer and Stone wanted to help her out, so he put the item back up for auction. This time a man named Dan Rubino won it and like the first winner, he was kind enough to tell Stone to keep it and do what he wants with it. Now, Blythe and Stone are planning to auction it off for a third time next year so they donate the money to another good cause to help even more people.
