Slashfilm is reporting that Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs movie has begun shooting. The movie is based on the Walter Isaacson book of the same name.

The film, now simply titled Steve Jobs, has officially begun shooting in San Francisco. Danny Boyle directs from a script by Aaron Sorkin, based on the biography by Walter Isaacson. The cast includes Michael Fassbender as the tech icon, plus Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Michael Stuhlbarg. Read the official announcement after the jump.
