Slaves are a post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California who have recently been on a headlining tour throughout North America with Secrets, Picturesque, and Out Came the Wolves. Slaves consist of Colin Viera (bass), Weston Richmond (guitar) and Jonny Craig (vocals). I had the opportunity to catch their show in San Antonio, Texas on September 2nd, 2017.

Before the band entered the stage, fans shouted and screamed "SLAVES!" "SLAVES!", they clearly had been looking forward to see the trio. The rockers entered the stage with smiles on their faces, clearly excited and full of energy. The band opened with a fan favorite "My Soul is Empty & Full of White Girls". Fans mossed and stage dived as the show continued. Slaves did not fail to disappoint with their energetic presence and crowd interaction.
