Show Review: Vans Warped Tour (San Antonio, Texas)

Kicking off the Texas portion of the 2017 Vans Warped Tour, the sun surely made itself known. From the moment doors opened to the second everyone left the venue, Texas surely greeted the anyone and everyone on the touring crew with a fun day. While the venue in San Antonio could be better, the festival itself was a great time. Quickly acquiring the bands I wanted to see and making sure to balance other responsibilities for the day, I set forth to take on the day.

The Night Of- Representing the best of the Austin, Texas music scene The Night Of was the first act of the day and surely the most impressionable! Drawing a large crowd from the second the band began playing, The Night Of owned the stage.

Beartooth- Taking the stage pretty early in the day, Beartooth made sure that everyone was fully committed to the set. With the band practically puppet masters of the crowd, the band made sure to make their set memorable. Playing hits such as “In Between” and “Aggressive” and many other fan favorites, the 25 minute set flew by fast.

Neck Deep- The highlight of the day Neck Deep took the stage in a flurry and jumped straight into the set. With the stage set up with props geared towards their upcoming release “The Peace and the Panic”, Neck Deep made sure to emphasize the singles off their upcoming release.

All in all, the 2017 Vans Warped Tour went pretty well. With an array of bands and a fun atmosphere, make sure you don't miss the last few dates!
