Show Review: The Mosh Lives Tour (Atlanta, GA)

After numerous van troubles, Sworn In finally got to play in Atlanta for the Mosh Lives tour. The band only played material from their debut record, The Death Card. Tyler Dennen is a very good frontman but he acts so different off stage, in a funny way. Hopefully, they can finish the tour without any troubles.

Gideon; the poor man's version of The Ghost Inside played next. All the kids in flat bill hats and gym shorts really seemed to love this band for some reason. I remember when they were a local band; their sound was very different.

Thy Art Is Murder, the Australian version of Whitechapel, told the crowd, "We came from hell to play a show for you cunts!" This was the 2nd time TAIM played The Masquerade, but 3rd time overall in the states. CJ, the vocalist even hung out on the side rails for a few songs before jumping into the crowd. Before playing their last song, CJ mentioned the band would return to the states in July/August, which is the time frame Summer Slaughter...

As soon as the intro to Wormholes came in, the crowd knew what to do when Volumes opened with it. Gus and Michael came out in St Patty's Day attire; hat and glasses, etc. Diego was notably missing but that's because he's mixing the album which will be released when Warped Tour starts. They did, however, play one new song, Through The Trees. Don't miss them when they play ALL summer on Vans Warped Tour.

Emmure, the headliner of the Mosh Lives Tour took the stage and killed it. Frankie was all over the stage, letting loose his signature vocals. You can make all the jokes you want about the band, but there's no denying that they know how to put on a SHOW. Mark, their drummer, was unrelenting on the skins. The guitarists also know how to play more than just one string, contrary to popular belief. Catch them this summer on Mayhem Fest!
