Show Review: The American Dream Tour (Atlanta, GA)

Yes, I realize this review is late. My photographer never got their pictures back to me to use for this.

After hanging outside in the freezing cold for a while, we made our way inside to watch letlive destroy the place with their chaotic blend of music. Jason jumped around like a mad man as always, running around the balcony before coming back to the stage. Their last song would've been Renegade '86 but there set got cut. Probably due to his antics. I would love to see them tour with Beartooth.

Banshee (Ghost Fame)
The Sick, Sick, 6.8 Billion
Empty Elvis
That Fear Fever
Muther
27 Club
Renegade 86' (cut from the set)

Issues were up next; excited to see how their new material would sounded live. Their self titled debut record came in a #9 on the Billboard Top 200. That's insane for an indie label like Rise Records. They opened with their latest single, Stingray Affliction while their hometown crowd showed them love. Love Sex Riot was on the setlist but sadly Fronz wasn't there to do his guest vocals. Overall the setlist included three new songs, 3 Black Diamonds songs, and their summer hit, Hooligans.

Stingray Affliction
Love Sex Riot
Princeton Ave
Never Lose Your Flames
King of Amarillo
The Settlement
Hooligans

Of Mice & Men; what can be said about them that hasn't already been written on various tumblr blogs? Continuing their trend of writing songs that pander to their Hot Topic fanbase, the band recently put out their latest album, Restoring Force. All the fangirls were chanting "AUSTIN" shortly before the band took the stage. You would think a band that had their album come in at number #4 would write better music but thank goodness for pre-teens using their parents' money to the buy the album. The band's setlist consisted of new and old material, including the listenable banger, The Depths.

The last time Bring Me The Horizon did a US headliner was back in 2011 with Parkway Drive, Architects, and Deez Nuts. Needless to say, people were excited for them to come back to the states for the American Dream Tour. Their production on the stage was awesome. Confetti rained in the air in the beginning of Can You Feel My Heart. When they settled, they played the first single from Sempiternal, Shadow Moses, letting the extended intro to play over the PA before getting the crowd moving again. The setlist only included two Suicide Season era songs and none from Count Your Blessings, much to the dismay of the old school fans. Jason from letlive came on the last part of Antivist to rally the crowd before the band disappeared off stage only to come back and play Sleepwalking for their encore.
