Doing it all again, attendees made their way through the gates at Douglas Park for day two of the 2017 Riot Fest. With attractions such as the vendor world, the circus sideshow and the various tents, fans kept good and busy as people waited for the first bands to take the stage and kick off the day.

Starting the day off, Rise Records band Knuckle Puck took the stage. Following the lead of many other bands at Riot Fest this year, Knuckle Puck kicked off their set with the live debut of their newest track ‘Gone’. Starting off strong the band did a great job of keeping the crowd active by slowly and surely building their setlist one by one. By the time the band began their debut of another new track ‘Double Helix’ the crowd of was going ballistic. All in all, Knuckle Puck had a great set and met expectations. Could the band have had a better set? Maybe, but that’s for the future to tell.

Bayside, now here is a band that never fails to amaze me. With a jam-packed 14 song setlist, these guys wasted no time in diligently starting their set and saving their small talk. Showcasing their talents with quick and well-defined playing Bayside put on their best performance, even though the crowd was less than responsive. Even with the band playing some of their classic hits, the attendees of this year's Riot Fest just seemed to lack during this particular performance. All that aside, Bayside’s performance was something to remember.

New Found Glory, proving that it’s possible to keep going strong for 20 years. Full of energy, the band woke the crowd up from as they rolled straight into the first song on their set ‘Understatement’. With the stage decked out in ‘20 year’ gear, the band showed us how they got where they are today. Working together in harmony, the band hammered out the 17 song set, playing hits such as ‘All Downhill from Here’, ‘Hold My Hand’, and even ‘My Friends Over You’.Here’s to seeing what the next 20 years hold!
