For starters, what bands were you guys a part of prior to Drenalin? How long has the band been around?

Drenalin has been around since October of 2005.

Dan has only been in Drenalin, he is the founder and creator of the band. Jonny played in Panama (Van Halen Tribute). J was in Who I’ve Become prior to Drenalin. Mikey & Justin were in Raising Jameson together prior to Drenalin. Mikey was in Out of the Blue as well. Nick is currently in Wake Magnolia as well as a few recording projects.

What’s the origin of that name and have you changed the band’s name before?

Dan was driving on the highway and saw a bill board that mentioned “Adrenaline” and the font type that it was in made the word stand out to him. Dan wanted the name to be “created” and not just some assortment of words. The name of the band spawning from “adrenaline” is quite suiting given the amount of energy that we put out.

Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs and do you think these topics will change over time?

Dan is the main song writer and has been since the inception of the band.

The themes behind our music span many inspirations, but the vast majority on positive energy and empowering our fans. “24K” is a song that focuses empowering the athlete and how to keep fighting and keep striving for the win.

What bands are currently inspiring the music that you’re making?

Breaking Benjimin, Killswtich Engaged, Sevendust, Asking Alexandria

Was there a particular band/artist or concert that inspired you to start a band?

Sevendust for sure!

What do you do to prepare for a show? Any flexing, exercises, ect …

Vocal warm ups, finger exercises, shots, squats & tater tots

What has been the biggest highlight of the band’s career so far?

Playing the Quicken Loans Area (now the Rocket Mortgage Field) for the Lingerie Football League.

If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

Kenny Loggins because he takes it to the danger zone every night.
