Pallbearer To Release New Album “Mind Burns Alive” In May

Pallbearer have revealed the details for their new album “Mind Burns Alive.” The effort will be available on May 17 and a music video for its first single, “Where The Light Fades,” can be seen below:

“Mind Burns Alive” Track Listing:

01. “Where The Light Fades”
02. “Mind Burns Alive”
03. “Signals”
04. “Endless Place”
05. “Daybreak”
06. “With Disease”

Vocalist/guitarist Brett Campbell commented:

“These songs are a deeper exploration of dynamics and sonic color than anything we have done up to this point. I’m of the belief that true heaviness comes from emotional weight, and sometimes sheer bludgeoning isn’t the right approach to getting a feeling across.”

He went on to say that the tracks are “vignettes that tell the stories of people who deal with myriad sicknesses of the spirit… illnesses communicated by the world we live in, and the subjects are the symptoms of the disease.”

Bassist/vocalist Joseph D. Rowland also added that the band were living near each other in Little Rock for the first time in nine years when they worked on the album:

“It’s ironic given that the album is largely centered around isolation, but it felt like it summoned us into being back together again in one town, after so long apart.”
