Fit For A King Part Ways With Drummer Jared Easterling, Recruit Trey Celaya
Fit For A King have parted ways with drummer Jared Easterling. Trey Celaya (Invent Animate) will now be taking his place. The band said the following about Easterling's departure:
“Hey everyone. We are sad to announce Jared will be stepping away from the band to pursue an amazing life opportunity he has been presented with. There is no bad blood whatsoever and we are so excited for him and this new chapter of his life! Also, Bobby will be joining us on stage for the first time since 2018 for the rescheduled August Burns Red shows! If you’re able to make it, come see us with Jared and Bobby together for one final time. For those wanting more details, here is a message directly from Jared.”
The group also commented on Celaya's addition:
“We are excited to announce that @inventtrey will be joining the band full time playing drums. We have been great friends and have been touring together for a long time already, so this was an easy decision for us to make. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him behind the kit with us moving forward.”
Celaya added:
“you guys have probably seen that i’ve been touring with @fitforakingtx over the past few years, and i’m excited to announce that i’m officially their new drummer. i’m still in @invent_animate , and will continue to be an integral part of the songwriting and recording process, but i will no longer be touring with them. my inner fire has always told me to create, and i am blessed to be able to spread my wings and creatively contribute to two bad*ss bands that i love and regard as family. life is really busy between writing, recording with both bands, planning a wedding and touring, but my heart is full and i’m excited about everything that is to come. let us rock onward 🤙🏽”
