Chicago Acts Rare Candy and Little Crown Release Fall Split
Two up-and-coming Chicago based acts recently released a killer fall split for our listening pleasure. Rare Candy is an acoustic folk-rock artist who have played with the likes of Homesafe and Chase Huglin while Little Crown is a ukulele artist who is said to make sad songs for happy people. The split contains the first two songs that Little Crown has released as well as two originals from Rare Candy.
The entire EP is incredibly catchy and the depth of Alex Wieringa's (Rare Candy) voice is a beautiful contrast to the light and bright tone's that Phoenix Butler's (Little Crown) voice has. No matter the lyrical content the entire split has a pleasant bounce to it, making it incredibly easy to listen to. Go take a drive, put this on, and particularly enjoy the last tune on the EP "318" by Little Crown.
