"Alt" Artists On The Rise

With music being even more accessible to us than ever before, we have to wonder if there are some bands that may have slipped past our radar. But fret not my dears, we here at Kill The Music are dedicated to helping raise awareness for all of amazing talents out there that are on the rise.

This week, we're spotlighting three alternative/indie rock bands that have been working their asses off and it is showing. Be sure to check out the links to each of the band's music and comment on the post with other up-and-coming alternative artists we should be checking out!

1. The Moose:

The Moose are a hard-working, indie/alternative trio from Chicago, IL. Earlier this year they released the second half of their two part EP All Wax/No Wick, quietly screaming with authenticity and integrity. The Moose just recently finished recording their upcoming full-length with Sam Pura of The Panda Studios who has recorded The Story So Far and State Champs. Listen to more from them here and keep in touch with them on Facebook!

2. Super Whatevr:

Super Whatevr have been an obsession of mine for a few months now and I don't even want to shake it. This So Cal based trio have been rocking out at Emo Night events, got signed to Hopeless Records, and recently released a new single titled "Bloomfield" and it doesn't seem like they have any plans on slowing down this momentum. Listen to more from them here and keep in touch with them on Facebook!

3. Animal Flag:

Animal Flag is a Boston based alt-rock group who have been working consistently this year to take their careers to the next level. Having done a 33 date North American tour and releasing an Audiotree session this year, these guys are proving that they're pouring their hearts into everything they do as a band. Listen to more from them here and keep in touch with them on Facebook!
