Vans Warped Tour is celebrating it's 22nd year on the road. While it is one of the largest traveling music festivals, it has so much more to offer than just music. Vans Warped Tour is also one of the most charitable tours on the road. Check out some of the non-profits on tour this summer and support some awesome causes while also supporting some really great bands.
1. Hope For the Day
Hope for the Day is a mental health non-profit based out of Chicago and founded by Jonny Boucher to bring hope to those who often feel hopeless. Hope for the Day hopes to achieve suicide prevention by providing outreach and mental health education through self-expression platforms. They encourage people to use creative expression as a medium to educate communities while empowering those who need help to, to get help.
2. A Voice for the Innocent
A Voice for the Innocent was brought on the tour by Kevin in an effort to create a space where people can feel safe. They are a non-profit dedicated to the support of those affected by rape and sexual abuse. They seek to form a safe community where people can come forward with their story and be provided with long term resources and support.
3. Feed Our Children Now!
Do you ever wish that you could skip the line at Warped Tour and get into the venue early? Well, Feed Our Children Now provides a way for you to do that while also giving back. They collect canned food donations and donate them to local charities, in exchange, those who donate get to skip the line. The tent is always located right outside the main entrance and they also collect cash donations or used cell phones. All donations go to feed hungry children in each city and fund their youth empowerment programs!
4. Love Hope Strength Foundation
The organization was started by Mike Peters and James Chippendale in 2007. Their mission is to save lives, one concert at a time by helping to expand the marrow registry list and by offering hope to those living with cancer.
